The TSol Performance and Investment Committee (PIC) takes a particular interest in sickness absence management and a number of changes, following negotiations with the Unions, were implemented in May 2010. This included revision of the trigger points to allow earlier intervention by managers, the introduction of clearer guidance for managers and staff, and more detailed and targeted reporting. The People Committee is responsible overall for TSol's absence management strategy. Similar monitoring and management of sickness absence is carried out in AGO and HMCPSI.
