Qualified Lawyers

As a major employer of lawyers we are particularly keen at present to receive applications from:

	experienced employment lawyers for our employment teams;
	experienced litigators for our other litigation teams;
	those with an interest in developing litigation skills.
	experienced commercial contracts lawyers;
	experienced public procurement lawyers

Other vacancies arise from time to time in our advisory teams and for people with probate or property experience for our Bona Vacantia team. However, priority will be given in this current recruitment round to applicants demonstrating relevant and recent experience in the areas of work highlighted above.

Starting Salary

Our policy is to appoint those with under 3 years PQE as Legal Officer on a salary of either £33,200 or £38,600. Those with 3 years PQE or more are taken on as Grade 7 lawyers on the sum of 41,760 rising to 43,300 in August 2007. Exceptional candidates may be offerred more.
