Cat Panel: Advertisement for Expressions of Interest
The Treasury Solicitor’s Department (“TSol”) seeks expressions
of interest from firms of solicitors and other suitably qualified organisations
and individuals for appointment to a panel that will provide specified
litigation services to TSol and other central government bodies for a
period of 3 years, with the possibility of extension for a further year.
It is intended that the new Lit Cat panel will consist of the following
Lots:
Lot 1: Employment litigation;
Lot 2: Personal injury litigation;
Lot 3: Other litigation (e.g. commercial, property and public law);
Lot 4: Specialised litigation support;
Lot 5: Regulatory and criminal litigation and advisory services; and
Lot 6: Debt recovery work.
The focus of the new arrangements will be on using external agents for
employment and PI litigation work.
Tenderers
can apply to be appointed to one or more Lots. The deadline for receipt
of fully compliant tenders is 12.00pm on Friday 15 August 2008. Further
details are contained in an Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) document.
If you would
like to receive a copy of the ITT, please e-mail your expression of interest
to litcat@tsol.gsi.gov.uk,
including the name and address of your organisation, nominated point of
contact and contact details. ITTs will be despatched as soon as practicable
after receipt of expressions of interest.
The
deadline for receipt of expressions of interest is 12.00pm on Monday 14
July 2008.
